The Grand Junction River Hawks are looking for caring families with extra space in their homes to host a player (or players) for the upcoming season. Junior hockey thrives because of the generosity and support of billet families who provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for these young athletes.

 

Starting in August, we will welcome a team of 25-30 dedicated players, ages 16-20, from across the United States, Canada, and Europe. These young men are not only talented athletes but also individuals of strong character, as our coaching staff prioritizes both skill and integrity when recruiting players. You can feel confident that the player you host will treat your home, family, and presence with the utmost respect.

 

As a billet family, you’ll provide a "home away from home," offering support, encouragement, and a family atmosphere during this crucial stage of their development as they work toward their dream of playing at the NCAA level. Our Billet Coordinator and coaching staff carefully match families and players to ensure a positive and harmonious experience for everyone involved.

 

Hosting a player is a deeply rewarding experience that often leads to lifelong bonds between billet families, players, and their biological families.
