The Grand Junction River Hawks are thrilled to welcome Parker as our new Assistant Coach and Equipment Manager!
Hailing from Saginaw, Michigan, Parker brings over 20 years of hockey experience to the team, including two years of junior hockey—where he captained the Oregon Tradesmen in his second season—and two years at the NCAA Division III level playing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

After transferring to Grand Valley State University to pursue a degree in Sport Management, Parker stayed close to the game as an assistant coach for GVSU’s club hockey team and interned as an equipment manager with the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks.

A proud Type 1 diabetic, Parker embraces every challenge with resilience, positivity, and a team-first mindset—values that make him a perfect fit for our growing organization.

Off the ice, he enjoys time with his fiancée Grace, their two cats, and getting outdoors to golf, fish, and hunt.

Please join us in giving Parker a warm Grand Junction welcome! 🏒🔥
