The River Hawks hit the road this weekend for a crucial two-game series in Idaho Falls against the Spud Kings, and these games carry major playoff implications.
The teams are currently neck and neck in the standings. Idaho Falls has just edged ahead into 2nd place, pushing the River Hawks into 3rd. The Spud Kings hold a 21–6–2 record through 29 games played, while the River Hawks sit at 19–11–2 through 32 games.
The River Hawks enter the weekend prepared and motivated, looking to carry positive momentum into an important road series. With the playoff race tightening, Friday and Saturday’s games will play a big role in shaping the final league standings.
